Austin’s Texas BBQ

Our family visited Austin's today and after living in Bogota for the last year, I was looking forward to some good texas style barbaque. I was not disappointed, made the drive worth it, even my wife and son were amazed at the quality, flavor and portion sizes. It was their first time eating this kind of barbaque and they loved it. Thanks guys for providing a great meal and atmosphere. We'll be back.

Wow really good brisket in Colombia! I saw the sign for Austin's Texas BBQ while out for a Sunday drive, I was thinking ok probably it's not going to be that good but why not give it a try? I was very impressed with the flavor of The Brisket, the Beans, and coleslaw! As I was finishing up one of the owners Carlos came in and sat down with me! He explained he has a Texas partner. He also said that the smoke flavor which is very good is achieved using coffee wood! I will definitely be back for more! Way to go Carlos, Roger, and Roberto! BBQ Home away from home!

What a fun day! With a group of friends in Bogotá we rented a van for USD 8/person and came out to the lovely countryside town of Subachoque. The food here at Austin Texas BBQ was amazing! Excellent seasoning, and the sampler platter was perfect for us to try all of the different meats. Onsite there’s also a pony, horses, and a swing set which I’d imagine is fun for kids but also kept us adults entertained haha. Also, I loved that they are pet friendly so that my dog could come along and spend the day with us on this adventure. Definitely an enjoyable way to escape the hustle & bustle of Bogotá and eat a delicious meal!

This is a must if you want to have a texan experience, great service, amazing food and overall owner is always taking care of every detail. Drive outside the city and get together in this amazing spot for all the family.

Outstanding BBQ. High quality ingredients and everything done as well or better than what you'd find in San Antonio and Austin.Ordered the brisket tacos, pulled pork, baked beans, and st. Louis ribs. Sangria was great. Decided to order brisket and ribs to go because everything was incredible.Carlos is an outstanding host.Area is also super fun in terms of vibe, feeling like a mega picnic rather than a typical restaurant.
